SustainUS: US Youth for Sustainable Development
Sustain US SustainUS is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization of young people working towards sustainable development and youth empowerment in the United States. The site will tell you how to get involved in policy change and grassroots action.
Membership: Open to anyone! Voting Members are youth (either U.S. citizens or permanent residents, or studying in the U.S.) 13 to 26 in age. All other members are Associate Members. Membership is on an individual basis, not on the basis of university or group.

Founded: May 2001 at the International Youth Summit in Borgholm, Sweden, to prepare U.S. youth for the World Summit on Sustainable Development
